From the Principal

 WE WARMLY WELCOME YOU TO OUR SCHOOL

On behalf of the Durack staff, students and parents, I welcome you to our school. Durack School is highly fortunate to have a dynamic, committed and passionate team who work together to ensure every child and their family feel that they belong. 

Central to this is our belief that every child is capable of success and that we, as educators, are tasked with the challenge of ensuring each child can access the curriculum and experience such success. At Durack, we deliver a positive school experience where students feel supported, connected and valued. We equip them with the skills to achieve academically and socially, striving for ‘Dignity and Determination’ while building ‘a community of learners that ignites curiosity and prepares children for the future’.

We have strong community support and it is the partnership between school and home that models the importance we place on learning. Our community values our school and we appreciate the support they give us, as we work together to provide safe, challenging learning experiences for the children.

I am very proud and grateful to be the Principal of Durack School.
