Principal's Message

From the Principal

Durack School is a dynamic learning community where we work together through a shared vision and values to achieve the best outcomes for our students. A supportive and well structured learning environment enables the teaching and learning process to thrive. The wide range of programs offers students a full curriculum, inclusive of their individual skills and abilities. The dedicated and highly skilled staff are focused on the whole child and have high expectations of all students.

We are very excited that Durack School was been selected to become an Independent Public School in 2016. This ensures that the school has greater autonomy and flexibility in making decisions locally and in response to the educational needs of our students.

The school has an excellent reputation in the community and its success is a result of the combined energies and contribution of students, staff, parents and community. We believe that every child has the right to the best possible education and the educational process is best served when the school, the child, the teacher and the parent/carer work together in a positive way to support school learning.

I am very proud to be principal of Durack School.
